Senior Cybersecurity Analyst
Role summary
GINIA is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst for a federal client in Washington, DC. This hybrid role requires 7+ years of cybersecurity experience, an active SECRET clearance, and extensive knowledge of the RMF process. Responsibilities include developing and implementing security standards, authoring security documentation, conducting compliance reviews, and assisting with POA&M remediation. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and experience with CSAM is highly preferred. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Our company is inquiring for an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to assist one of our federal clients. This is a great opportunity to join a rapidly expanding and successful team. We are looking for someone who has a deep understanding of cybersecurity, including the entire RMF process, as well as experience with CSAM. This is a great opportunity to grow with the company. Minimum Requirements:
7+ years of cybersecurity experience or equivalent
Active SECRET Clearance required
Extensive RMF experience
CSAM experience highly preferred
Adept at both verbal and written communication
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
Responsibilities/ Preferred Qualifications:
Understands and is able to assist with the full RMF process.
Coordinates and leads cross-functional meetings, with an ability to capture action items and meet delivery deadlines.
Proactively engages with stakeholders to discuss, define, and meet needs.
Develops and implements information assurance/security standards and procedures.
Authors and updates security documentation to include but not limited to: system security plan, contingency plans, and configuration management plans.
Provides guidance and assistance to more junior members of the team.
Conducts compliance reviews and monitors security metrics for on-time completion.
Assists with POA&M monitoring and remediation.
Prepares and delivers presentations, reports, and other findings to senior leadership.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
