Role summary

We are seeking a REMOTE SharePoint Developer for an international organization. The role involves developing custom web parts for SharePoint Online (using SPFx, React, TypeScript/JavaScript) and SharePoint Server (using Visual Studio and .NET Framework). Responsibilities include scripting for automation (PnP, PowerShell), providing web application support, managing version control with Git/GitLab, documenting changes, and conducting knowledge transfer. Candidates must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree, 3+ years of experience with SharePoint 2013, 2+ years with SharePoint Online, and be fluent in English. This is a long-term, remote position open to contractors and employees.

Category: IT Services Location: Fort Colombo Sri Lanka We are urgently looking for a REMOTE SharePoint Developer for an international organization. Candidates need to be fluent in English. All positions are long-term. This position is open for contractors and employees. During the corona crisis, interviews will be done through WEBEX, and travel is not required for the interviews. Candidates need to be able to work normal office hours of Bangkok or Valencia (Europe). Tasks and responsibilities:

Develop SharePoint Online custom client side web parts using SPFx development toolchain;

Develop SharePoint Server custom server side web parts using Visual Studio and Microsoft .Net Framework;

Develop scripts for the automation of tasks for SharePoint Online (PnP) and SharePoint Server 2016/2019 (PowerShell) deployments;

Provide web application development support;

Provide detailed documentation of changes and manage version control with the available systems (Git/GitLab);

Provide SharePoint knowledge transfer to Client’s technical support personnel;

Apply software development best practices;

Perform other duties as required;

Profile:

Bachelor or Master degree;

+3 years developing functionalities for Microsoft SharePoint 2013

+2 years developing customizations for SharePoint Online;

Front end development experience with React and Typscript/javascript;

Fluent in English;
