Seeking a REMOTE Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Engineer (DevOps) for an international organization. The role involves managing Azure infrastructure to support software development processes and new releases. Responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining Azure cloud infrastructure, implementing security best practices, optimizing processes and costs, and developing scripting solutions for the software lifecycle. Close cooperation with development and QA teams is essential. Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree and significant experience in cloud infrastructure management, specifically with Microsoft Azure, PowerShell, IaaS/PaaS, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). Experience with SCM and build tools like Azure DevOps is desirable.

Category: IT Services Location: For an international organization in Europa, we are urgently looking for a REMOTE Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Engineer (DevOps). As Devops Engineer you support the software development processes and implementation of new software releases through management of Microsoft Azure infrastructure. Candidates need to be willing to work European office hours and need to be fluent in English. All positions are long-term. This position is open for contractors and employees. Tasks and responsibilities:

Support software development processes and implementation of new software releases through management of Microsoft Azure infrastructure;

Proactively monitor and maintain hosting and development infrastructure in Microsoft Azure cloud;

Maintain and implement security best practices; proactively investigate improvements to infrastructure security;

Suggest and assist with implementation of process and cost improvements to Microsoft Azure hosting infrastructure;

Implement scripting and coding solutions to support the software lifecycle, including provisioning of cloud resources;

Cooperate and communicate closely with software development and quality assurance teams to ensure efficient processes;

Maintain and optimize deployment infrastructure;

Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Profile:

Bachelor or Master degree;

+5 years of experience in on-premises or cloud-based infrastructure management is required;

+4 years experience in Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure management is required including developing PowerShell scripts, working with Azure IaaS and PaaS, and Infrastructure as Code with Terraform;

+4 years of experience with Software Configuration Management and build tools such as Team Foundation Server or Azure DevOps is desirable;

+4 years experience with deployment tools like Azure DevOps Release Pipelines is desired;

CISSP, ISO27001/27005 or equivalent security certification is desirable;

Practical experience and knowledge of C# coding is desirable;

Fluent in English;
