A leading technology firm is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to drive software modernization initiatives for government and commercial clients. The role involves guiding the implementation of modernization programs, leveraging expertise in infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment. Key responsibilities include developing automated CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, contributing to deployment strategies with Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker/Podman, and troubleshooting deployment issues. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience (or Master's with 2+ years), strong knowledge of DevOps trends, proficiency with container technologies and orchestration tools, and experience with Linux/UNIX command line. • The Role

• Guide the definition, implementation, and delivery of software modernization programs.

• Leverage expertise in infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and software deployment.

• Develop automated CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI.

• Contribute to various software deployment strategies using Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker/Podman.

• Troubleshoot and resolve software deployment issues, identifying and mitigating technical risks.

• What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience, or Master’s with 2+ years (additional experience may substitute for a degree).

• US Citizen with ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

• Strong knowledge of DevOps trends and technologies.

• Experience designing, building, and deploying pipelines with GitLab CI.

• Proficiency with container technologies (Docker/Podman) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).

• Understanding of basic networking protocols and functions within Kubernetes architecture.

• Experience with Linux/UNIX command line.
