We're working with a leading global mission-critical consultancy that bridges the gap between complex cloud architecture and high-stakes national security. We are looking for a visionary developer to architect, secure, and scale containerized platforms using AWS, Azure, and modern DevOps orchestration tools.
As a Platform Engineer, you won’t just be managing servers; you’ll be building the sophisticated infrastructure that solves some of the most pressing technical challenges for federal and defense clients. You will utilize cutting-edge IaaS and PaaS technologies to ensure seamless orchestration and mission-forward success.
The Role
• Architect and deploy high-availability applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure environments.
• Develop and manage container management software to ensure seamless orchestration and secure adoption across client environments.
• Lead the implementation of automated infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation to replace manual provisioning.
• Manage and optimize GitLab and GitHub CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous integration and rapid delivery of software updates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform cloud strategy, design standards, and security protocols across the entire containerization lifecycle.
What You'll Need
• Active TS/SCI security clearance (Required).
• 5+ years of experience in software development or programming within a dedicated DevOps environment.
• 3+ years of expertise with automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools including Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
• 3+ years managing Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/GitHub) and 2+ years of AWS or Azure architecture experience.
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570 Security+ or CISSP certification within 30 days of start date.
• Proficiency in scripting with Bash, Python, or PowerShell and experience with JSON, YAML, and RESTful APIs.
