Role summary
KOCO, an ABC affiliate in Oklahoma City, OK, is seeking a Local News Photographer to capture and edit field footage for broadcast and online platforms. Responsibilities include shooting VOs, VO-SOTs, and packages, working with assignment desks and reporters, editing in Adobe Premiere, and feeding content to the station. The role requires experience with ENG trucks, operating digital editing tools, and maintaining equipment, all while upholding journalistic standards and professionalism. This position requires in-person attendance and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
Local News Photographer
KOCO, the ABC affiliate in Oklahoma City, OK has an opening for a Local News Photographer. We are looking for a photographer with the ability to capture the essence of what's happening in the field, and then bring it vividly into the homes of our viewers. You will spend several hours each day out in the field shooting, editing, and executing creative live shots. You will also edit for newscasts. You must be up to date on the modern aspects of our medium, have an excellent eye for video. You will work well with others, always positively representing us with the highest journalistic standards and professionalism on display. This role reports to the News Director.
