Role summary

Factor, a brand of HelloFresh, is seeking an Area Manager II, Production. This supervisor role will impact all aspects of production, optimize productivity, promote growth, spark innovation, and incite change. Responsibilities include communicating with employees, providing coaching and development, reporting production status, resolving employee issues, balancing quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale, and managing departmental performance measures. The ideal candidate is a leader, problem solver, results-driven, comfortable multitasking, computer literate, and able to take direction. Experience in a cool or cold environment is also noted. A High School Diploma or GED or related work experience is required, with 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a production environment preferred.

You will be hands-on and immerse yourself in the trenches to optimize productivity, promote growth, spark innovation, and incite change from within.

You will ...

  • Respectfully communicate with all employees and leads while providing coaching and development to shift hourly associates.
  • Report information and update managers throughout every shift with knowledge of that day’s production.
  • Resolve employee issues through appropriate problem resolution.
  • Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas.
  • Manage departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provide regular progress reports to Associate Production Manager/Manager during the shift.
  • Attend to other duties as assigned by management
