Hertrich Family of Dealerships is seeking experienced Used Car Technicians / Reconditioning Mechanics for a high-volume pre-owned inventory. The role involves performing inspections, diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues, and general maintenance. Candidates should have 3-5+ years of experience, strong diagnostic and repair skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a production-based environment. ASE certifications are a plus. The position offers competitive pay, a 5-day workweek (no Sundays), benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, and paid time off. A sign-on bonus is available for qualified technicians.

What You'll Do
- Perform used vehicle inspections and reconditioning repairs
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Complete safety inspections and ensure vehicles are front-line ready
- Perform brakes, tires, suspension, and general maintenance repairs
- Work closely with service advisors and parts departments
- Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation
- Keep a clean, safe, and organized workspace
What We're Looking For
- 3-5+ years automotive technician experience (used car/recon preferred)
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a production-based environment
- ASE certifications are a plus
- Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
- High School Diploma or GED required
