Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Human Resources Generalist. The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the Human Resource function and is responsible for the oversight, administration, and coordination of such HR activities such as employment, employee relations, onboarding, benefits, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Duties

  • Ensure compliance to state and federal employment laws
  • Partner with supervision/management to establish and communicate Company and Human Resource polices procedures and programs
  • Work with supervision/management to establish positive employer-employee relationships when addressing employee complaints and/or progressive discipline issues
  • Maintains high standards of confidentiality of all employee records and information
  • Manage various employee relations issues by conducting investigations and provides a written summary including recommendations.
  • Maintains and practices “open door”.
  • HR resource to clarify questions regarding the interpretation of company and HR policies.
  • Ensure HR compliance with corporate/federal/state record retention and security guidelines.
  • Manage the benefits administration
  • Conducts New hire and Benefit Orientation and applicable paperwork for Heyl Management
  • Responsible for administering, coordinating Federal, State and company leave policies (FMLA, ADA, LTD etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Experience

  • Proven experience in human resources or related roles with a strong foundation in employment & labor law compliance.
  • Experience managing benefits administration
  • Experience in leave management
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across departments while managing multiple projects using project management tools.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
