Role summary

Hi Marley is seeking a Sr. Account Manager to join their Growth Team in Boston. This role focuses on owning and growing strategic enterprise accounts, acting as a trusted partner to customer executives. Responsibilities include developing multi-year account plans, leading cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Design, Engineering, Customer Success), managing pipeline and forecasting, and demonstrating deep industry expertise. The ideal candidate has 10-15+ years of enterprise account management experience, a proven track record in closing multi-million dollar deals in long sales cycles, and strong executive presence. Experience in Property & Casualty insurance or InsurTech is preferred. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days/week in the Boston office, with 30-40% travel.

Insurance plays an important role in people’s lives, providing protection and peace of mind through life’s adventures and unexpected turns. In the moments that matter, people want to know their insurer is there for them. At Hi Marley, we help insurers deliver on that promise through communication that brings greater clarity and connection to the policyholder experience.

About the Role

You'll own relationships with some of our most strategic enterprise customers, helping insurance carriers connect their business priorities to clearer, more human communication. On our Growth Team, you'll work directly with senior executives to shape multi-year account strategies, grow complex relationships, and turn customer insights into decisions about our product roadmap. You'll also help colleagues sharpen their approach to complex deals as a player-coach. If you enjoy earning trust across a room of stakeholders and finding a path through competing priorities, you'll love this role.

We’re in our Boston office Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays to connect, collaborate, and learn together. Recurring meetings typically run between 9:30am and 4:30pm for commuter flexibility.

What You’ll Do

  • Build executive relationships and multi-year account plans that connect our roadmap to customers' business goals, navigating complex organizations and competing priorities.
  • Align Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Customer teams around account strategy, helping customers adopt our platform, realize measurable value, and renew.
  • Own pipeline development, forecasting, and quota attainment for your portfolio, keeping account plans and activity records accurate in Salesforce or comparable tools.
  • Shape complex deal strategy, coach peers, and bring customer and market insights into our go-to-market decisions and product priorities.
  • Your first year

  • First 60 days: You've built relationships with key customer stakeholders, learned their priorities, and assessed account health and growth opportunities across your portfolio.
  • By 6 months: You've aligned customers and internal teams around multi-year account plans and established a consistent rhythm for pipeline reviews and forecasting.
  • By 12 months: You've demonstrated customer value, advanced renewal and expansion opportunities, and shared insights that shape product priorities and strengthen peers' deal strategies.
  • What you'll bring

  • Bring 10–15+ years in enterprise account management, including success closing and expanding complex, multi-million-dollar software deals with large, Fortune-class accounts.
  • Have led sales cycles of six months or longer with executive buying committees, building trusted C-suite relationships through clear communication and storytelling.
  • Combine strategic judgment with organized, collaborative execution and attention to detail; you're comfortable owning decisions as priorities change and the path is unclear.
  • Can work from our Boston office three days a week and travel 30–40% to develop and maintain executive relationships.
  • Nice to have

  • Experience in Property & Casualty insurance or InsurTech, bringing industry context to conversations with customers and colleagues.
  • Don't check every box? If this role excites you, we'd still love to hear from you.
