Role summary

Hippo is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner in Austin, TX (Hybrid) to provide expert recruitment services across IT, Engineering, G&A, Insurance, High-Volume, and Spinnaker roles. This role is crucial for identifying diverse talent and developing end-to-end recruiting strategies, including job description consultation, hiring strategy development, and talent pipeline creation. The Talent Acquisition Partner will manage the full recruiting lifecycle, ensuring a positive candidate experience and collaborating closely with hiring leaders to meet business objectives. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of recruiting experience in fast-paced environments, proficiency with ATS systems like Greenhouse, and strong communication and project management skills.

About This Role:

The Talent Acquisition Partner position is an impactful function whose overall responsibility will be to provide best-in-class recruitment expertise and hiring strategies roles in IT, Engineering, G&A, Insurance, High-Volume, Spinnaker (wholly subsidiary of Hippo) and etc. You will directly impact the company’s success, identifying diverse and skilled talent.

In this role you will develop and deliver end-to-end recruiting process from influencing job description skills in partnership with our People Strategy team, to building hiring strategies, consulting with hiring leaders, and creating talent pipelines for the organization’s ongoing hiring needs.This person will be vital to our hiring success through immediate engagement, ensuring we have the tools and resources needed to grow their business.

What You'll Do:

  • You have talent acquisition experience in fast-paced environments and are excited about Hippo’s forward-thinking approach
  • Effectively consult with hiring leaders to understand business objectives, assess hiring needs and manage searches through the recruiting lifecycle
  • Manage stakeholders’ expectations by communicating in a proactive, clear, concise, persuasive manner on proposed solutions, tied back to business needs
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates ensuring a positive candidate experience by implementing a smooth recruiting process
  • Assess talent at every level for skills and alignment with Hippo’s values
  • Proactively seek out talent to build multiple pipelines by using sourcing strategies such as traditional sourcing approaches, diversity channels, hiring events, universities, and other creative methodologies
  • An understanding of employment law basics, interviewing best practices, and behavioral-based interviewing
  • Manage internal recruiting process and stakeholder engagement with strong cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and business acumen
  • You are highly organized, focused, and flexible within an exciting, ever-changing hiring environment

    • Must Haves:

  • 4+ years of recruiting experience (Insurance, G&A and GTM)
  • Experience conducting full-cycle recruiting including posting on job boards, conducting phone screens, managing, and facilitating interviews, facilitating post-interview discussions (debriefs), extending and negotiating offers
  • Experience working in an applicate tracking system to effectively track and manage candidates throughout the recruiting process; Greenhouse ATS experience is preferred
  • Self-motivated and directed; the ability to collaborate with a variety of different stakeholders
  • Uses funnel metrics that impact the business to drive actions and change management for the business
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Insurance and related high-volume experience for Customer Support, Claims, and/or Sales

    • The Morristown, NJ base pay range for this role is $90,000 - $120,000. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, location, business needs and market demands.
