About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to join our project delivery team in Cleveland. This role is tailored for construction professionals with a minimum of two years of project management experience who are eager to advance their careers. The Junior Project Manager will support the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects within healthcare, education, institutional, and retail sectors. The position offers a balanced mix of office-based project controls and on-site field oversight, providing an excellent opportunity for professional development under the mentorship of seasoned project managers. The role involves engaging with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess at least two years of construction project management experience, whether in the field, office, or a combination of both, preferably on commercial projects. A solid understanding of construction means and methods, contract documents, and the project lifecycle is essential. Candidates should have experience with budgeting, schedule tracking, RFIs, submittals, and change order processes. Strong organizational skills and excellent communication abilities—both written and verbal—are required to effectively coordinate multiple stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is mandatory, and familiarity with project management software such as Procore, Buildertrend, or CMiC is highly preferred. The candidate must be willing and able to perform regular site visits and travel between project sites within the Cleveland area. A proactive, detail-oriented, team-focused attitude combined with a desire to learn and grow under senior project management mentorship will ensure success in this role.
Responsibilities

  • Assist senior project managers with planning, budgeting, scheduling, and project controls to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain essential project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, daily reports, and closeout packages.
  • Track project costs, process invoices, and help maintain accurate cost forecasts and budget logs to ensure financial objectives are achieved.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and material suppliers in collaboration with superintendents and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Support permitting processes, inspections, and regulatory compliance activities to adhere to local, state, and federal requirements.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor field progress, report status updates, identify issues, and propose effective mitigations.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, facilitating project meetings and follow-up on action items.
  • Assist in quality control checks and enforce safety protocols to promote a safe working environment.
  • Help implement short-interval scheduling and monitor productivity metrics to optimize project performance.
