Role summary

Holder Construction is seeking an experienced MEP Coordinator for a full-time, in-person role on a Mission Critical facilities project in Shippingport, PA. The position involves overseeing mechanical and electrical construction, supervising trade contractors and vendors, and coordinating schedules, budgets, reports, and documentation from pre-construction to close-out. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of commercial construction experience with large, sophisticated mechanical and electrical systems, specifically in data centers and complex infrastructure projects. Strong skills in project scope and schedule development, change order and RFI coordination, budget management, and stakeholder relations are required.

    • About the Role

    We are looking for a MEP Coordinator to join our MEP team on our project in Shippingport, PA. This is a full-time, in-person position.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee mechanical and electrical construction for Mission Critical facilities and related projects.
  • Supervise all Mechanical and Electrical Trade contractors and vendors involved in the project.
  • Coordinate schedules, budgets, reports, and documentation for mechanical and electrical systems from pre-construction through project close-out.

    • Qualifications

    Required:

  • 5+ years of commercial construction experience with large, sophisticated mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Extensive experience managing the construction of data centers and complex electrical and mechanical infrastructure projects.
  • Experience developing project scopes and schedules, coordinating change orders and RFIs, and managing project budgets and cost control.
  • Strong ability to manage relationships with owners’ representatives, architects, engineers, and clients, while supervising subcontractors and vendors.
