Role summary

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent in Houston, TX, to help educators achieve financial security through insurance and financial services. This role offers performance-based 1099 compensation with a significant 48-month incentive package, an exclusive territory, and access to a multiline product portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and business management skills, a commitment to client success, and the ability to build relationships and present products effectively. Required licenses include Life and Health, and Property and Casualty, with the ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses if applicable. This is a remote, contract position.

    • What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong interpersonal and business management skills to build and manage your agency
  • 2-5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred)
  • Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses:
  • Life and Health Insurance License
  • Property and Casualty Insurance License
  • Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable in your region)
