Role summary

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent in San Angelo, TX, to build and manage their own agency. This role offers competitive, performance-based 1099 compensation with a 48-month incentive package, exclusive territory, and ongoing training. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and business management skills, a commitment to helping educators achieve financial security, and possess or be able to obtain necessary insurance licenses. This is a remote, contract position focused on sales and client relationship management.

    • What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong interpersonal and business management skills to build and manage your agency
  • 2-5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred)
  • Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses:
  • Life and Health Insurance License
  • Property and Casualty Insurance License
  • Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable in your region)
