Davis Chevrolet in Brooks is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician. The role requires a Red Seal Automotive Technician License or Senior Level Apprentice status, strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills for detailed repair order documentation. The ideal candidate will be a team player, willing to assist apprentices, and possess a valid driver's license. Compensation is competitive, based on skill and experience, with potential for high earnings for Journeyman Technicians. Davis Chevrolet in Brooks is looking for a highly skilled Automotive Service Technician who is ready to make a move for the better. We are a family-owned, reputable Chevrolet dealership that offers a fun, family-oriented atmosphere to work in.

The successful candidate will earn a competitive wage based on current skill set and experience, starting at $36 + per flat-rate hour. Highly skilled Journeyman Technicians in our shop can earn over $100,000 per year. Our ideal candidate must be either a Journeyman Service Technician or a Senior-level Apprentice.

What You Bring:

Red Seal Automotive Technician License with bonus points given to those who have GM experience
Not a Journeyman Technician, no problem! If you are a Senior Level Apprentice Technician, we would still like to talk to you!
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to regularly produce over 100% efficiency
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly and accurately track and write detailed information on repair orders
A team-oriented mindset to work well with our entire Parts and Service team and be willing to assist a team of Apprentices
Valid driver’s license
