Role summary

Hubble is seeking an onsite, full-time Radio Frequency (RF) Test Engineer in Seattle, WA. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability and performance of satellite hardware by developing and executing test, validation, and quality-assurance strategies. The engineer will work across the full lifecycle, from design to production, collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities include testing wireless payloads, analyzing hardware in harsh environments, and ensuring reliability from design through in-orbit operation. The ideal candidate possesses a strong engineering foundation, excellent communication skills, and experience in RF systems testing, hardware validation, and data analysis.

Hubble Network was founded with the intention of delivering on the promise of what Internet-of-Things (IoT) was supposed to be. We're building a global Bluetooth® network dedicated to machine-to-machine connectivity. We differentiate ourselves as the first modem-less and gateway-less, direct-to-satellite network from off-the-shelf Bluetooth® Low Energy chips. Hubble is ideal for applications in logistics, AgTech, and maritime where economies of scale for volume consumer and enterprise asset tracking is a priority. Our goal is to be the first billion-endpoint-connected network in the world.

Hubble is an early-stage, venture-backed startup supported by some of the best investors in the world. In their previous lives, the founding team has been successful in raising $100s of millions in venture funding, developing the Amazon Sidewalk network, launching billions of dollars of space assets, and leading their teams to successful exits, both through acquisition and IPO. We are now looking to bring on talented team members who are the best at what they do to help us make Hubble a reality for the world.

This is an onsite, full-time position based in Seattle, WA.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Radio Frequency (RF) Test Engineer at Hubble, you'll help ensure the reliability, performance, and longevity of our satellite hardware. You'll develop and execute the test, validation, and quality-assurance strategies that qualify our wireless payloads, uncover weaknesses, and prove that our hardware can thrive in the harshest environments space has to offer — including radiation, thermal cycling, and mechanical stress. Your work will span the full lifecycle — from design validation through flight readiness and into volume production — and will be central to scaling reliable, mission-ready hardware as we build out the Hubble satellite constellation. You'll work closely with cross-functional hardware, software, and mechanical teams to ensure reliability from initial design through manufacturing and in-orbit operation.
