Role summary
Hybron Technologies is seeking a CNC Manufacturing Engineer for its El Segundo facility. This full-time, in-person role involves end-to-end CNC machining operations, from CAM programming to setup and machining, to produce high-precision molds and prototype parts for advanced manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have 1-4+ years of CNC machining experience, proficiency in CAD/CAM software, and the ability to read technical drawings and GD&T. Responsibilities include collaborating with engineering, managing tooling, and optimizing processes for scalable production in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment. This is an entry to mid-level position with growth opportunities in machine planning, capacity planning, and manufacturing team management.
Hybron Technologies is a startup that has developed a new manufacturing method for fiber-reinforced polymer composites that will revolutionize lightweight component production. Our new process solves the major challenges of traditional composites manufacturing, enabling more complex parts to be manufactured with higher quality and greater strength, at 10-100 times the speed. We have already successfully tested our first composite compressor blades in a fighter jet engine and are looking to apply this technology to many other applications in multiple sectors, from energy to aerospace to defense.
Your journey with us is more than just a job – it’s an opportunity to shape the future of advanced manufacturing. Our technology will help solve current major problems, namely by increasing the performance and reducing the cost of components for America’s warfighters, increasing the fuel efficiency of systems to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and bringing back domestic manufacturing. Join us as we work together to create a lighter and brighter future!
