Role summary

Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) is seeking a Quality Assurance Improvement Engineer Specialist for its innovative EV mass-production plant. This role involves analyzing warranty and field quality data, leading problem-solving initiatives, coordinating with suppliers for root cause analysis, and validating corrective actions. The specialist will also conduct process reviews, support technical teams, present findings to leadership, and drive warranty cost reductions and customer satisfaction improvements. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum of 2 years of quality assurance experience in the automotive industry are required, along with strong analytical and communication skills.

JOB TITLE

Quality] (QA) Improvement SPEC

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Analyze warranty and field quality data to identify trends.
Lead structured problem-solving activities and quality investigations.
Coordinate with suppliers to obtain root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Validate effectiveness of containment and permanent corrective measures.
Conduct manufacturing process reviews and quality audits.
Support service and technical teams in understanding field concerns.
Present investigation status and quality risks to leadership.
Drive reductions in warranty costs and improvements in customer satisfaction.
Coordinate field actions, service campaigns, and quality reporting activities.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance within the automotive industry.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Knowledge of automotive industry quality standards and regulations.
Proficient in MS office and other relevant software.

Preferred:

1 – 5 years job related experience preferred

Travel Requirement

Domestic / International travel may be required.
