Role summary

Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) is seeking a Production Control Process Control Specialist I to develop and implement production plans, analyze demand, and create daily/weekly production schedules. This role involves establishing mid- to long-term plans, monitoring production progress, reporting on performance, and resolving issues. The specialist will collaborate with other production units for information sharing. A Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering is preferred, along with experience in Microsoft Office products. Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and distribution is essential. Experience in the Automotive industry is strongly preferred.

JOB TITLE

Production Control Process Control Specialist I

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Develop and/or modify production plans and implement them.
Analyze demand and forecasting of production
Develop daily or weekly production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met
Establish mid- & long-term production plan reflecting production capacity and constraints.
Monitor and control progress of production.
Inform other Units of any changes in production plans and update documents accordingly.
Prepare status and performance reports, and resolve production issues
Regularly communicate with other production Units for the sake of information sharing.
Meet all other requirements as assigned.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

• Bachelor’s degree required (Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering major preferred)
• Experience with Microsoft Office products or equivalent applications
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
• Advanced degree in a related field preferred
• Years of experience from Automotive industry strongly preferred
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
