Role summary
Interstate Equities Corporation (IEC) is seeking an energetic Leasing Consultant for their apartment communities in Redwood City, San Mateo, and Daly City, California. This role involves strong leasing and marketing efforts, assisting with lease signings and move-ins, data entry in Yardi, providing excellent customer service, and generating reports. The position requires at least one year of multi-family leasing experience, knowledge of Fair Housing laws, strong communication and organizational skills, and availability to work Tuesdays through Saturdays from 9 AM to 6 PM. Compensation includes an hourly rate of $21.00-$25.00 plus monthly commissions and quarterly bonuses.

Position Summary:
IEC is looking for an energetic, skilled Leasing Consultant to be responsible for leasing activities at three of our apartment communities (543-units total) located in Redwood City (34%), San Mateo (33%), and Daly City (33%), California. The schedule will be Tuesday through Saturday from 9AM to 6PM.
Job Duties:
- Strong leasing and marketing efforts
- Assist in scheduling and conducting lease signing meetings and move-ins
- Complete administrative and lease-related data entries in the property management system (YARDI)
- Provide excellent customer service to residents
- Provide reports and other systems data to support leasing and marketing efforts as required
Job Requirements:
- At least one year of multi-family leasing experience
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws
- Ability to take direction, yet be self-motivated
- Be a team player, possess accountability, and be in alignment with company culture
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literate with good organizational skills
- Must be available to work Tuesday through Saturday from 9AM to 6PM.
Education Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent and professional knowledge of business discipline
