Role summary
InfoMagnus seeks a Principal AI Engineer to lead the design and delivery of agentic AI systems for enterprise clients, transforming software engineering and business operations. This remote role involves 50% hands-on engineering and 50% architecture, leadership, and mentorship. You will design and implement agentic workflows, build production-grade AI agents, architect orchestration frameworks, and extend coding-agent platforms. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of software engineering experience, strong Python expertise, and hands-on experience with LLM-powered or agentic applications, coding agents, and autonomous workflows. Cloud-native development, distributed systems, APIs, CI/CD, and automated testing are also required.

InfoMagnus is looking for a Principal AI Engineer to help enterprise clients transform both how software is built and how business gets done through agentic AI. What You'll Do
As a Principal AI Engineer, you'll serve as the technical leader on client engagements, combining deep hands-on engineering with architecture, mentoring, and strategic guidance.
You will:
- Design and implement agentic software engineering workflows across the SDLC
- Build production-grade AI agents and multi-agent systems integrated with enterprise platforms
- Architect orchestration frameworks including dependency-driven workflows, evaluation loops, and autonomous task execution
- Extend coding-agent platforms through custom tools, MCP integrations, APIs, SDKs, skills, and automation
- Lead AI maturity assessments, workshops, and enablement programs
- Build observability, governance, security, and evaluation frameworks into every solution
- Mentor engineers and help establish reusable agentic engineering practices
- What We're Looking For
- You have moved beyond experimenting with AI tools and are building systems that deliver measurable business outcomes.
Required Experience:
- 8+ years in software engineering, architecture, and technical leadership
- Strong Python expertise plus TypeScript, Java, and/or C#/.NET
- Hands-on experience delivering LLM-powered or agentic applications beyond proof-of-concept
- Experience with coding agents, autonomous workflows, evaluation loops, or multi-agent orchestration
- Strong understanding of cloud-native development, distributed systems, APIs, CI/CD, and automated testing
- Ability to lead technical conversations, architecture decisions, and engineering teams
