Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is seeking a Senior OpenShift Administrator to oversee the health, performance, and stability of on-premises enterprise clusters at NIWC Pacific. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end administration and architectural optimization of our OpenShift infrastructure while supporting an agile team delivering custom applications for the U.S. Government. This position is 100% onsite.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

· Lead the end-to-end administration, scaling, and architectural optimization of on-premises Red Hat OpenShift clusters to ensure secure, high-availability enterprise infrastructure, with preferred experience in SUSE Rancher.

· 7+ years Linux systems administration experience.

· Experience troubleshooting cluster/infrastructure issues using logs, events, and system diagnostics.

· Demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot problems, learn new technologies, and document systems/procedures.

· Experience with scripting/automation (e.g., Bash, Python, Ansible).

· Monitor cluster health and performance while troubleshooting and fixing node or application errors.

· Configure security settings, user access rules, and network policies to protect the cluster.

· Perform regular updates, software patches, and system backups to keep the platform stable.
