Role summary

InHome Therapy is seeking licensed Physical Therapists (PT) to provide in-home services to adult and geriatric patients in the Waukegan area. This full-time or part-time role offers a flexible schedule, consistent caseload, mileage reimbursement, and a supportive team environment. Responsibilities include patient evaluation, developing treatment plans, implementing therapeutic exercises, educating patients and families, and maintaining accurate documentation. A valid PT license, BLS CPR certification, reliable transportation, and basic tech comfort are required. The role offers a per-visit compensation ranging from $65-85, with potential for bonuses and career growth opportunities.

    • Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver in-home physical therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in your community
  • Evaluate patient mobility, strength, and function to develop individualized treatment goals
  • Implement effective rehabilitation and therapeutic exercise programs
  • Educate patients and families on recovery plans and preventive care
  • Maintain accurate and timely home health care documentation per Medicare and agency standards

    • Requirements

  • Active physical therapy (PT) license in good standing
  • BLS CPR certification
  • Reliable transportation to see patients in their homes
  • Basic comfort with technology - email, texting, EMR systems (training provided)

    *This position is paid on a per-visit basis. Final compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Benefits eligibility varies based on employment status and weekly hours worked. Some full-time roles are eligible for medical benefits only; others are eligible for both medical benefits and PTO.
