Role summary

The State of South Carolina is seeking an Enterprise Project Manager for a 12-month hybrid contract role in Cayce. This position will support project management and governance functions, including implementing a new Project Management System, overseeing the portfolio, providing dashboard reporting, and managing organizational change. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 15+ years of Project Management experience, 10+ years with State or Federal IT projects, 10+ years implementing Project Management Systems, 8+ years creating Power BI dashboards, and 10+ years of Change Management experience. A PMP or CSM certification is also required. Experience with Public Health Software Implementations is preferred.

Project Overview

This position supports the agency’s project management and governance functions, including implementing the new Project Management System, overseeing the portfolio, providing dashboard reporting, training users, and supporting stakeholders. As the PWA is decommissioned, the role will provide expertise in system implementation, project visibility, organizational change management, and leadership of strategic projects aligned with the South Carolina Department of Public Health.

Support large-scale technology and business projects.
Maintain project management standards and best practices.
Facilitate stakeholder engagement and collaboration.
Improve project management processes and organizational maturity.

Requirements

Education and Certifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Business Administration
Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification required.

Required Skills:

15+ years of Project Management experience.
10+ years of experience with State or Federal IT projects.
10+ years of experience implementing Project Management Systems.
8+ years of experience creating Power BI dashboards.
10+ years of Change Management experience.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Public Health Software Implementations
CompTIA A+ (Computing Technology Industry Association A+) Certification
Experience working with multiple stakeholders and maintaining clear communication
