Senior Account Manager

About interface.ai

Interface AI is redefining how financial institutions serve their members through agentic AI and conversational AI, and we're doing it in production, at scale, with real outcomes. $30M in Series A funding. Cash-flow positive. A mission that matters: democratizing financial wellness for every American, not just the ones who can afford a private banker.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of each customer’s strategic plan, member growth goals, efficiency ratio, and digital roadmap to uncover new ways Interface.ai can drive value.

  • Learn each institution’s technology ecosystem, including core banking, digital banking, and contact center platforms, to identify integration-ready expansion opportunities.

  • Monitor business triggers such as mergers, branch consolidations, call volume spikes, and new product launches to proactively position cross-sell and upsell solutions.

  • Quantify and communicate ROI from existing deployments, including call deflection, hours saved, member satisfaction, and cost per interaction, to build the business case for expansion.

  • Lead executive business reviews that tie Interface.ai outcomes to each institution’s board-level objectives.

  • Map whitespace across departments, channels, and use cases, including contact center, lending, collections, card services, fraud, and back-office operations.

  • Utilize Sandler or MEDDIC/MEDDPIC methodologies to qualify expansion opportunities and prioritize them by impact and likelihood to close.

  • Multi-thread relationships across the C-suite (CEO, COO, CFO, CIO/CTO) and department leaders in Member Experience, Lending, and Collections, ensuring continuity if a champion departs.

  • Navigate consensus-driven buying processes, including committee and board approvals, and align proposals with each institution’s annual budget cycle.

  • Guide clients through vendor due diligence and third-party risk management reviews, partnering with internal Security and Compliance teams to address regulatory expectations.

  • Use renewals and contract co-terming to expand agreements, while monitoring adoption and account health so growth builds on a strong foundation.

  • Turn satisfied clients into references, case studies, and conference co-presenters, and use peer benchmarks to strengthen expansion conversations.

  • Bring in Solutions Engineering, Product, and Customer Success for demos, scoping, roadmap discussions, and rollout plans.

  • Share client feedback with Product to shape the roadmap and uncover future cross-sell opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in an account management, expansion, or full-cycle sales role, ideally within the technology or SaaS industry.

  • Growth mindset with a strong track record of expanding existing accounts and exceeding upsell and cross-sell quotas, preferably with mid-market and enterprise clients.

  • Proven success managing renewals and negotiating multi-year contracts while retaining and growing a book of business.

  • Deep understanding of SaaS renewal and expansion motions, customer lifecycle management, and go-to-market strategies.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence decision-makers at all levels.

  • Proven ability to manage a portfolio of accounts and multiple opportunities simultaneously, with strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Analytical and strategic thinker with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

  • Experience selling AI-powered technologies or customer experience platforms is a strong plus.

  • Experience managing credit union or community bank accounts is a plus.

  • Skill in using prompt engineering techniques to enhance productivity, drive efficiency, and decision-making with generative AI tools.

Why interface.ai

Series A · $30M raised · Cash-flow positive — we're not burning cash hoping the product works. It works. Customers are live, revenue is real, and the mission is one you can explain to your family without a slide deck. You'll work directly with Bruce Kim (CTO / Co-Founder), who sets the technical bar and goes deep on the hardest problems, and Srinivas Njay (CEO), who is hands-on daily across product and engineering. Founding-team-tier equity, top-of-market base, comprehensive benefits, and a modern San Francisco office worth showing up to. The team is small enough that your judgment shapes everything, and the market is large enough that what you build will matter for a long time.
