Role summary
Interplay's Studio is seeking a Cofounder & CEO to launch and lead a new venture focused on Industrial Bottleneck Intelligence. This role involves taking a validated concept to a scaled production powerhouse, with Interplay providing back-office support. Responsibilities include defining company strategy and vision, developing go-to-market and operational models, recruiting the team, raising capital, and scaling the business. The ideal candidate has prior company-building experience, relevant industry and product expertise (data, analytics, supply chain, AI), and credibility with sophisticated investors and buyers. A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of work experience are required.

Our Studio is the division of Interplay that builds new companies from scratch. We come up with ideas internally, diligence them hard and when we can’t kill them... we build them.
We are seeking a Cofounder & CEO to lead the launch and growth of a new venture focused on Industrial Bottleneck Intelligence. You will be responsible for taking the concept from a validated idea to a scaled production powerhouse. While you run the entire company, Interplay provides the institutional "back-office" to help you succeed.
Interplay is a startup ecosystem that supports founders via venture capital, an accelerator, a studio, a platform of core business services, and a multi-family office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the development of a new company.
Define company strategy & vision.
Develop the go-to-market strategy and operational model.
Recruit the team.
Raise capital.
Scale.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Have built a company before.

Love problem solving and winning
Have relevant industry experience.
Have direct experience building or commercializing data, analytics, market-intelligence, alternative-data, supply-chain, industrial-research, or AI-enabled intelligence products.
Are credible with hedge funds, public-market investors, asset managers, private equity firms, venture investors, corporate strategy teams, and other sophisticated buyers of investment intelligence.
Understand one or more relevant domains such as defense, industrials, energy infrastructure, grid equipment, semiconductors, critical materials, advanced manufacturing, logistics, or supply-chain risk.
Have demonstrated experience raising institutional or venture capital; prior leadership in a successfully exited VC-backed company is strongly preferred.
Are hyper-organized.
Have the ability to work well in an unstructured environment.
Bachelor’s degree is required, MBA is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of work experience.
