Role summary

IXL Learning is seeking a passionate Associate Math Curriculum Designer for its Print & Instruction team in Raleigh, NC. This full-time role involves creating and reviewing high-quality print student materials for the Takeoff by IXL product, ensuring accuracy, visual appeal, and effectiveness. The designer will also propose creative solutions to design challenges, manage schedules and assignments for graphic designers, and collaborate with other curriculum designers. A Bachelor's degree and classroom teaching experience are required, with experience teaching or tutoring elementary, middle, or high school students being essential. Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and organizational abilities are key. Interest or experience in graphic design is a plus.

In this role, you will help with the creation of high-quality graphic design for Takeoff by IXL, coordinating graphic design work and reviewing for visual style and overall effectiveness. Your problem-solving and communication skills, attention to detail and visual eye, commitment to quality, and understanding of student experience will make personalized learning a reality for millions of students.

This is a full-time position that requires you to be in our Raleigh, NC, area office. #LI-EM1

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Coordinate the creation of high quality print student materials for Takeoff by IXL

Review print designs for accuracy, visual appeal, potential student pain points, and overall effectiveness

Propose creative solutions to help solve design challenges

Manage the schedule and assignments for our team of graphic designers

Collaborate with other curriculum designers to ensure high quality content

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Bachelor's degree

Experience teaching or tutoring elementary, middle and/or high school students; classroom teaching experience required

Strong attention to detail

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to be efficient and organized while working on multiple projects simultaneously

Interest or experience in graphic design is a plus
