Description of the role:

The Body Repair Technician at Jim Taylor Buick GMC will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition. This position requires a strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 2 years of experience in the field and a strong commitment to providing high-quality work.

Responsibilities:

• Repairing and replacing damaged body parts, including fenders, hoods, doors, and bumpers
• Sanding, priming, and painting vehicles
• Straightening and aligning vehicle frames
• Welding and using other tools to repair damaged areas
• Inspecting vehicles for additional damage
• Working with customers to explain repair processes and provide accurate time estimates

Requirements:

• 1 to 2 years of experience as a Body Repair Technician
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques
• Proficiency in using tools and equipment commonly used in body repair
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
