, this position ensures smooth management of contracts from award through execution, including planning, tracking, correspondence, baseline change management, proposal approvals, negotiations, and other ad hoc contractual activities.
As a customer-facing leader, you will act with limited oversight, representing Honeywell in front-end contract awards and throughout program execution. You will also collaborate closely with finance to provide contract deliverables, funding reports, and estimates to complete.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage program contracts, including change management, baseline updates, and contractual correspondence.
- Lead proposal submissions, fee assertions, and self-assessments for incentive/award fee contracts.
- Act as the primary liaison with Honeywell finance for contract funding and deliverables reporting.
- Negotiate and resolve contractual issues with customers, integrating and tracking contractual documents as they relate to program scope.
- Develop creative business deal structures and support dispute resolution when required.
- Represent Honeywell in customer interactions from contract award through program execution.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of Government Contract experience
.
- Ability to work independently with limited oversight.
- U.S. Person requirement: U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or protected status under asylum/refugee.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing
FAR 12 / FAR 15
contracts.
- Current or recent
DoD Secret clearance
, with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in
Engineering, Science, or Business
.
- Experience leading, planning, conducting, and concluding contract negotiations.
- Ability to creatively structure business deals and integrate contractual documents.
