Role summary
The Department of Pediatrics is seeking a casual Research Data Analyst for its Infectious Disease division. This role will support various research projects by providing data analysis, maintaining a research data pipeline, and generating reports and models. Responsibilities include data collection, statistical analysis using standard software, and data entry. The position is remote, casual/on-call, and requires a Bachelor's degree with three years of related experience. Preferred qualifications include extensive experience with STATA, R, REDCap, Endnote, MS Word, and MS Excel.
The Department of Pediatrics is seeking a casual Research Data Analystin the Infectious Disease division. The successful candidate will provide data analysis and related activities for various types of research projects and studies. The Research Data Analyst will contribute to ongoing development, maintenance, and use of a research data pipeline that collects and analyzes data.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- Collect data and generate reports and models.
- Run models, analyze model results, and prepare reports on the analysis.
- Conduct analyses in support of the assigned research project or study.
- Conduct statistical analyses using standard and statistical software packages.
- Design and prepare tables to illustrate analytic findings.
- Manage or contribute to entry of data in the assigned database.
- May engage in other research related responsibilities.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in related discipline.
- Three years of related experience.
- Additional education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
- Extensive experience with STATA and/or R, REDCap, Endnote, MS Word and MS Excel

Starting Salary Range: $23.07 - $40.43 HRLY ($58,240 targeted; Commensurate w/exp.) Employee group: Casual / On Call Schedule: M-F no more than 27 hours per week FLSA Status: Exempt Location: Remote Department name: Pediatrics
