Role summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson (JMT) is seeking a Surveys CADD Technician to prepare plans from engineering sketches and details for projects. This role involves utilizing AutoCAD or Microstation, performing basic engineering computations, preparing and revising specifications, and making quality control corrections to contract drawings. The technician will also prepare exhibits for reports and presentations. Immigration sponsorship is not available, except for TN visa candidates. Compensation ranges from $25.00 to $45.00 per hour.

Position Summary: Responsible for preparing plans from the provided engineering sketches and details for projects.

Immigration sponsorship or support (e.g. H1B, F-1 CPT/OPT/STEM OPT) is not available for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification.

Compensation for this position is $25.00 - $45.00/hourly, commensurate with experience, education and certifications. The provided range is a good faith estimate based on the requirements described within the job description. If so, the actual salary range may vary from the estimate provided.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Transfer engineering sketches and details to plans utilizing AutoCAD or Microstation
Makes basic engineering computations and prepares and revises specifications.
Make quality control corrections to contract drawings
Prepare exhibits for reports, public meetings or presentations
