Role summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson (JMT), a 100% employee-owned consulting firm, seeks a Survey Field Technician I to assist field crew leaders in performing daily tasks and learning to operate survey and SUE equipment. This role leverages modern and traditional survey procedures within JMT's Geomatics/Survey department. The position offers compensation between $18.00 - $22.00/hour and comprehensive benefits, including an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). Immigration sponsorship is not available, except for TN visa eligibility.

About Us: JMT’s Geomatics/Survey department offers an exciting work environment that leverages modern technology (terrestrial/mobile/aerial LiDAR, Drones, robotics, bathymetry, etc.), balanced with sound traditional survey procedures to deliver projects.

Position Summary: Assist field crew leaders in performing day-to-day field work.

Immigration sponsorship or support (e.g. H1B, F-1 CPT/OPT/STEM OPT) is not available for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Learn to operate survey and SUE equipment
Assist crew leaders in the performance of daily tasks

Nonessential Functions and Responsibilities

Perform other related duties as assigned

Compensation for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hour, commensurate with experience, education and certifications. The provided range is a good faith estimate based on the requirements described within the job description.
