Role summary

Kelso Industries seeks a detail-oriented Dispatcher to manage daily operations in a fast-paced service organization. This role involves coordinating service appointments, communicating with customers and field technicians, maintaining accurate data in company systems, and tracking service activity. The ideal candidate will excel in problem-solving, possess strong organizational and communication skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Office and scheduling/database/CRM platforms. Experience in administrative support, customer service, or service coordination is preferred. We are seeking a detail-oriented dispatcher to support the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced service organization. In this role, you will serve as a central point of communication between customers, office personnel, and field technicians while helping ensure that service requests are handled efficiently. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer support.

Compensation: $18-$21 per hour based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Daily Service Appointments: Schedule, modify, and prioritize work orders while balancing technician availability and customer needs.
  • Provide Outstanding Customer Support: Communicate with customers regarding appointments, service status updates, and general questions.
  • Facilitate Team Communication: Ensure technicians have the information and resources needed to complete assignments successfully.
  • Maintain Accurate Data: Enter and update customer details, service records, and operational information within company systems.
  • Track Service Activity: Monitor the progress of active work orders and assist in keeping projects on schedule.
  • Address Service Issues: Respond to schedule adjustments, urgent service requests, and customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform Administrative Functions: Prepare reports, organize documentation, and assist with various office support activities.
  • Support Operational Excellence: Work closely with management and team members to improve processes, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

    • Qualifications

  • Professional Experience: Background in administrative support, customer service, service coordination, office operations, or a similar position preferred.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and external contacts.
  • Organizational Strength: Capable of handling multiple assignments, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
  • Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications, scheduling software, database systems, or CRM platforms.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience working in service, maintenance, construction, facility support, or trade-related environments is beneficial but not required.
