Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health is seeking a Licensed Mental Health PHP Therapist for their Towson, MD location. This full-time, onsite role involves providing evidence-based psychotherapy, developing treatment plans, conducting assessments, and facilitating various therapy groups for adults in Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP). The therapist will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and nurses, and coordinate care with external providers. A Master's degree, active independent licensure (LGPC, LMSW, LCPC, LCSW), and a minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience are required. Strong knowledge of CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed care is essential, with EMDR experience being highly preferred. Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and clinical documentation is also necessary. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, clinical outcomes, and clinician well-being within a supportive, mission-driven culture.

Licensed Mental Health PHP Therapist - Partial Hospitalization Program – Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health

Work in person at our Towson, MD location from 9:00 - 5:00 PM Monday- Friday

Pay Ranges between $34-44/hour pending experience and licensure

What You’ll Do:

As Licensed Mental Health PHP Therapist at Kolmac, you will be at the center of patient care—building strong therapeutic relationships and delivering high-quality, evidence-based treatment. You’ll lead therapy groups, facilitate individual and family sessions, and contribute to integrated treatment plans within our innovative outpatient, and intensive outpatient settings.

Clinical Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide individual and group psychotherapy for adults in PHP levels of care
  • Develop and maintain person-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and level-of-care determinations
  • Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment approaches, and symptom management to support insight and empowerment
  • Design and deliver engaging process, psychoeducational and skills groups focused on emotional regulation, coping skills, and mental wellness
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nurses, and fellow therapists to provide integrated mental health care
  • Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and discharge planning
  • Coordinate care with families, referral sources, and external providers as appropriate
  • Demonstrates commitment to excellent patient care, which is measured through clinical outcomes, such as patient retention, attendance, successful program completion, transitioning from IOP, OP
  • Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely

    • Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of direct clinical experience providing mental health treatment
  • Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
  • Active independent licensure: LGPC, LMSW, LCPC, LCSW
  • Strong working knowledge of CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed care EMDR experience is highly preferred
  • Comfort using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
