Role summary

Concerted Care Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist for their Elkton, MD location. This onsite, full-time role involves providing evidence-based individual, group, and family psychotherapy to adults within their OTP, IOP, and OP programs. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, conducting assessments, educating patients, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree, an active independent license (LMSW, LCSW, LGPC, LCPC), and has at least 2 years of clinical experience. Proficiency in CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed care is required, with EMDR experience being highly preferred. Comfort with EMR systems and a commitment to ethical, patient-centered care are essential.

What You’ll Do

As a Mental Health Therapist at Concerted Care Group, you will be at the center of patient care—building strong therapeutic relationships and delivering high-quality, evidence-based treatment. You’ll lead therapy groups, facilitate individual and family sessions, and contribute to integrated treatment plans within our innovative OTP, IOP, OP program.

Clinical Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide individual and group psychotherapy for adults in our OTP program.
  • Work in person at our Elkton, MD location.
  • Develop and maintain person-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and level-of-care determinations
  • Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment approaches, and symptom management to support insight and empowerment
  • Design and deliver engaging psychoeducational and skills groups focused on emotional regulation, coping skills, and mental wellness
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nurses, PRP, and fellow therapists to provide integrated mental health care
  • Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and discharge planning
  • Coordinate care with families, referral sources, and external providers as appropriate
  • Demonstrates commitment to excellent patient care, which is measured through clinical outcomes, such as patient retention, attendance and successful program completion
  • Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely

    Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of direct clinical experience providing mental health treatment
  • Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
  • Active independent licensure: LMSW, LCSW, LGPC, LCPC
  • Strong working knowledge of CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed care 
  • EMDR experience is highly preferred
  • Comfort using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  • Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care and professional growth
  • The ideal candidate is comfortable working with both adolescents and adults.

    • Compensation Range: 

    The pay range for this position is $34 to $44 per hour. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, licensure, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
