Concerted Care Group is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist for their IOP program in Hagerstown, MD. This full-time, onsite role involves providing individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed care. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, conducting assessments, educating patients, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Requires a Master's degree, active independent licensure (LCSW, LMSW, LCPC, LGPC), and 2 years of direct clinical experience. EMDR experience is preferred. Comfort with EMR systems is necessary.

What You’ll Do

As a Mental Health Therapist at Concerted Care Group, you will be at the center of patient care—building strong therapeutic relationships and delivering high-quality, evidence-based treatment. You’ll lead therapy groups, facilitate individual and family sessions, and contribute to integrated treatment plans within our innovative OTP, IOP, OP program.

Clinical Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide individual and group psychotherapy for adults in our Mental Health and SUD Programs
  • Work in person at our Hagerstown, MD location.
  • Develop and maintain person-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans 
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and level-of-care determinations 
  • Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment approaches, and symptom management to support insight and empowerment 
  • Design and deliver engaging psychoeducational and skills groups focused on emotional regulation, coping skills, and mental wellness 
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nurses, PRP, and fellow therapists to provide integrated mental health care 
  • Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and discharge planning 
  • Coordinate care with families, referral sources, and external providers as appropriate 
  • Demonstrates commitment to excellent patient care, which is measured through clinical outcomes, such as patient retention, attendance and successful program completion
  • Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely

    Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of direct clinical experience providing mental health treatment 
  • Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field 
  • Active independent licensure: LCSW, LMSW, LCPC, LGPC
  • Strong working knowledge of CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed care. EMDR experience is highly preferred 
  • Comfort using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) 
  • Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care and professional growth 
  • The ideal candidate is comfortable working with both adolescents and adults.
