Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health & Concerted Care Group (CCG) is seeking an experienced Charge Nurse (RN) to lead nursing operations at their Baltimore, MD location. This hands-on leadership role involves overseeing dispensing and nursing operations, managing medication, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (BHA, DEA, COMAR, CARF), and supervising/mentoring nursing staff. The Charge Nurse will also collaborate with leadership on interdisciplinary care, strategic planning, and budget management, while providing direct patient care as needed. We're looking for an experienced Charge Nurse (RN) to lead nursing operations across our Baltimore, MD location. This is a hands-on leadership role for an RN who wants real influence over patient care, staff development, and clinical quality — not just a title.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–2:00 PM

Occasional Saturday as needed

What You'll Do

As Charge Nurse, you'll be the clinical and operational anchor for the nursing team across the Frederick center, balancing hands-on patient care with leadership responsibility.

Clinical Leadership

Oversee dispensing and nursing operations to ensure high-quality, evidence-based patient care

Guide care planning in collaboration with medical providers and clinical staff

Step in for direct patient care when needed and monitor outcomes to drive continuous improvement

Medication & Compliance

Manage medication ordering, inventory, and vendor relationships for the dispensary and OTP patients

Ensure full compliance with BHA, DEA, COMAR, and CARF standards through regular audits and chart reviews

Team Management

Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff, including hiring, scheduling, and performance recommendations

Build and maintain schedules that ensure strong coverage and the right skill mix

Foster a collaborative, supportive team culture and address staffing needs proactively

Cross-Team Collaboration & Strategy

Partner with the Executive Director, Medical Director, and other leaders on interdisciplinary care and strategic planning

Identify training needs and create ongoing development opportunities for nursing staff

Support nursing department budgeting and identify cost-saving opportunities without sacrificing care quality

What You Bring

Active Registered Nurse license in good standing

Proven experience as a Charge Nurse or in a similar nursing leadership role

Strong clinical judgment and up-to-date knowledge of nursing best practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team

Comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency with EHR systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
