The Role
The Timekeeping & Labor Accounting Specialist sits at the intersection of labor accounting, compliance, and ERP system integrity. This role ensures labor is captured accurately, charged correctly, and processed seamlessly between our ERP systems and payroll. You will manage timecard validation, support labor-related reconciliations, ensure compliance with company policy and labor regulations, and partner closely with Operations, Program Finance, HR, and Payroll.
The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, highly analytical, and comfortable navigating rules‑based labor environments typical of aerospace and defense organizations. You understand how labor impacts program cost, how ERP timekeeping ties into payroll, and why accuracy in these processes is essential not only for employees but for the integrity of our financial reporting.
You will support the systems and processes that allow our workforce to perform and charge time correctly — helping Rocketdyne maintain compliance, reduce audit risk, and ensure that our labor data is reliable and actionable across the business.
