Role summary
Our client seeks a remote, contract AI Product Manager to partner with business and technology teams, delivering scalable AI-based solutions within modern data environments. This role focuses on building machine learning analytics based on existing data, requiring strategic thinking, problem design, and hands-on requirement gathering. The ideal candidate will translate business needs into technical requirements, define success criteria, and develop go-to-market plans. Experience in Pharma/Life Sciences and clinical trials design is a plus, as is familiarity with RAG architecture and platforms like Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or Databricks. The contract is for 6-12 months, with potential for extension, working Pacific and/or Central Time Zone hours.
Our Direct client is seeking an AI Product Manager to partner with business and technology teams to deliver scalable solutions across data, analytics, and enterprise platforms.

- Monday – Friday, 40 hour work week.
- Contract: $90 – $105 /hour 1099 or Corp-2-Corp

Remote Contract must work Pacific and/or Central Time Zone hours! This contract 6 - 12 month contract.
The ideal candidate is a strong translator between business and technology, with proven experience supporting or delivering AI based project working in modern data environments.
This role is for the Business Development Group - building machine learning analytics based on existing data they already have.
Key Responsibilities
AI Product Manager needs to be more of a strategic person. Must have the ability to brain storm with the business teams.
Seeking a Product Manager that thinks more about designing the problem.
- Start with business problem, define what kinds of outcomes the business is looking for, design success criteria, come up with a go to market plan and then determine priorities.
- Once everything is aligned, then they start the requirements process
The Product Manager must be okay being hands on at that point and doing the requirement gathering themselves.
Required Skills
- Min 7 years of IT experience
- Min 4 years of Product Management
- At least 1 – 2 AI Projects
- Must have worked on AI projects
- Experience with Build to Build vs. Buy
- Experience and ability to do market research
- Hands on experience with requirement gathering
- Experience determining what products/implementation vendors would they use
- Clinical Trials Design projects would be a plus
- Pharma/Life Sciences experience a major plus
Technical Exposure (Preferred)
- Familiarity with RAG architecture concepts a plus
- Exposure to platforms such as: Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Databricks, or similar
