Role summary
Lake City Bank is seeking a Credit Analyst for its Commercial Loan Department in Goshen. This in-person role involves supporting commercial lending activities through credit analysis, financial statement analysis, global cash flow and collateral analysis, collateral audits, and review of financial covenants. The Credit Analyst will prepare financial spreadsheets, analyze customer financial statements for new loan requests, renewals, and annual reviews, and assist Commercial Banking Officers with credit approval documents. A B.S. in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Six months to one year of formal commercial Credit Department training is preferred.
Salary Range: $50,000+ Annually
Office Based/ In-Person Role
The Credit Analyst position performs support duties for the Commercial Loan Department including credit analysis, financial statement analysis, global cash flow and collateral analysis, collateral audits, and review of financial covenants in preparation of Loan Submissions and Credit Memos. As a Credit Analyst you will:
- Use technology available to prepare financial statement spreadsheets for further analysis.
- Analyze financial statements of prospective or existing customers as part of a new loan request, renewal or annual review.
- Assist the Commercial Banking Officers in the preparation of credit approval or review documents in accordance with loan policies.
Qualifications Include:
- B.S. in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
- Proficient PC skills with emphasis on Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Six months to one year of formal commercial Credit Department training preferred.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00-5:00
