Leanin' Tree is looking for a motivated, personable New Business Development Prospector to join our Sales team!
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys sales, customer interaction, and developing new business relationships. You'll work with warm leads, introduce customers to our products, develop new accounts, and help grow our business.
What You'll Do
- Contact prospective business customers through warm leads and outbound telephone prospecting.
- Introduce and sell Leanin' Tree products to potential customers.
- Build relationships and develop new customer accounts.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products.
- Follow up with prospects and generate referrals.
- Process customer orders and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity.
- Work toward individual and team sales goals.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
- One to two years of telephone sales, prospecting, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong verbal communication and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and developing new business.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and organized.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Sales experience is valuable, but the right attitude, communication skills, and desire to succeed matter too!
Compensation and Earning Potential
- Base salary: $41,500–$47,000 annually, depending on experience.
- Target commission opportunity: $20,000–$60,000+ annually.
- Total target annual cash compensation: $61,500–$107,000+.
Commission is performance-based and subject to the company's commission plan. Actual earnings are not guaranteed.
