Role summary

Lexington Medical is seeking a Global Senior Marketing Manager to lead marketing efforts for their AEON surgical stapling portfolio. This role involves shaping messaging, developing campaigns, and managing product launches across global markets. The manager will translate strategic direction into actionable marketing plans, create sales tools, and oversee digital marketing initiatives. They will gather customer and competitive insights to inform strategy and ensure cross-functional readiness for product launches. The position requires a Bachelor's degree, 4-7 years of marketing experience, and strong skills in product marketing, digital marketing, and stakeholder management. Experience in medical devices and international markets is preferred. The role offers broad ownership and impact within a growing company.

As a Global Senior Marketing Manager at Lexington Medical, you will shape how surgeons and hospitals see our AEON surgical stapling portfolio, from messaging and launches to the website. Working closely with the CEO and commercial leadership, you will turn marketing direction into campaigns, launch programs, and sales tools for a business that sells in over 40 countries.

About Lexington Medical

Lexington Medical is a growing medical device company designing, manufacturing, and commercializing surgical stapling technology. Our AEON Endoscopic Stapler is an FDA-cleared, minimally invasive surgical stapler, developed and manufactured at our headquarters in Bedford, Massachusetts. Our teams are intentionally small, which gives you broad ownership and ability to move quick. In this role, you'll have a meaningful impact on the organization and a close connection to the products and our customers.

About the Role

As a Global Senior Marketing Manager at Lexington Medical, you will support global marketing for the AEON portfolio day to day: how our products are positioned, what we say to surgeons and hospitals, how we launch, and how we show up online and in front of customers. You will bring customer and competitive insight into those conversations, then turn the direction into messaging, launch programs, digital campaigns, and the tools regional sales teams and distributors use every day.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute the global marketing plan, translating strategic direction into positioning, messaging frameworks, and market by market priorities across the U.S., Europe, and international markets.
  • Develop and maintain AEON positioning and the core value story, and keep it consistent across sales materials, the website, digital channels, and trade shows.
  • Gather voice of customer insight from surgeons, OR staff, and hospital value analysis stakeholders, and track competitor messaging, so leadership, sales, and R&D hear what the market is saying.
  • Coordinate global product launches, building the launch plan and keeping regulatory, quality, supply chain, clinical training, and sales readiness on schedule in each market.
  • Develop the global marketing toolkit (value story, clinical evidence summaries, launch kits, training content) that regional sales teams and distribution partners adapt locally.
  • Own digital marketing through agencies, contractors, and freelancers, including the website, SEO and AI search visibility, LinkedIn, and digital campaigns: set priorities, manage scope and budget, and hold vendors to quality and deadlines.
  • Plan Lexington's presence at surgical conferences and trade shows, and take on special marketing projects for the CEO and commercial leadership as priorities shift.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, life sciences, or a related field.
  • 4 to 7 years of experience in marketing or product marketing; medical device or healthcare experience, an MBA, surgical or OR exposure, or experience marketing in international or distributor markets is a plus.
  • Experience developing positioning and messaging and bringing it to market through a product launch, campaign, or rebrand, including coordinating the cross-functional work behind it.
  • Experience managing digital marketing agencies or contractors (website, SEO, social, or paid campaigns), with enough hands-on knowledge to direct the work and judge its quality.
  • Excellent writing and a strong eye for content; you can turn a technical product story into clear, compelling messaging for surgeons, hospital buyers, and sales teams.
  • Reliable follow-through with senior stakeholders, including the confidence to chase commitments from sales leaders and executives without losing the relationship.
  • You use AI tools daily to move faster on research, drafting, and analysis, you know when to trust the output and when not to, and you have built at least one AI-assisted tool or workflow that you or your team relies on.
  • A track record of learning new markets, products, and clinical areas quickly, and of good judgment about what to escalate and what to handle yourself.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, including international travel to surgeon sites, distributors, and conferences.
  • Salary Range$140,000—$165,000 USD
