Role summary
Loombotic is seeking a Content Creator & Social Media Manager to automate wire harness manufacturing. This role involves owning the content calendar, creating engaging video and written content for platforms like LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. The ideal candidate can ideate, film, edit, and publish content, balancing entertaining and technical subjects. Experience in manufacturing or hardware is a plus, but strong creative work and curiosity are prioritized. You will work with engineers and business development to find compelling stories and use analytics to refine content strategy.
At Loombotic, we’re automating wire harness manufacturing.\
Every robot, vehicle, and machine needs wiring. We’re building the factory that makes it, and we need someone to turn what’s happening inside into content people want to watch, read, and share.\
We have real machines, real customer work, and 20,000 square feet of factory being built out. There is plenty to show. You’ll own the content calendar and make it happen: coming up with ideas, filming, editing, writing, and publishing consistently across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.\
Some days that means a funny video, a timely trend, or a satisfying manufacturing clip built to reach a wider audience. Other days it means a technical demo, customer story, or thoughtful post that earns an engineer’s attention. You should be excited to do both.\
**What you’ll do:**
* Build and maintain a content calendar—and stick to it.
* Film, edit, and produce a steady stream of original content.
* Own day-to-day publishing across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, adapting content to each platform.
* Work with our engineers, technicians, and business development team to find stories worth telling.
* Create a mix of funny, entertaining content and serious, technically credible content.
* Experiment with hooks, trends, formats, and editing styles to improve reach, engagement, and sharing.
* Track what performs, learn from what doesn’t, and use those insights to shape the next batch of content.
You might be a good fit if:
* You can take an idea from concept to published content yourself.
* You’re organized, reliable, and comfortable delivering on a regular schedule.
* You have a good sense of humor and an instinct for what makes people stop scrolling.
* You know how to make technical subjects clear and interesting without losing accuracy.
* You understand how content differs across platforms.
* You’re comfortable on a factory floor, behind a camera, and getting people involved.
Experience in manufacturing or hardware is a plus, but curiosity and strong creative work matter more.\
Show us what you’ve made. Send examples of your videos, posts, or accounts you’ve managed. Tell us what you created, how you kept content flowing, and what results you achieved. We’d love to see both your funniest work and something that explains a complex subject well.
