Magical Beginnings is seeking a certified Toddler Teacher for their Norwell, MA center. This full-time role involves leading a classroom of toddlers (15 months-3 years), guiding them through developmental milestones with play-based activities, and fostering their social-emotional growth, language, and independence. Responsibilities include curriculum preparation, parent communication, maintaining a safe and clean environment, assisting with daily routines, and tracking child progress. The ideal candidate possesses EEC certification, experience with the toddler age group, and strong classroom management skills. Physical stamina for floor time, standing, and lifting is required. Qualified candidates must hold current Massachusetts EEC Infant/Toddler Teacher Certification. If you have experience as a Toddler Teacher, Infant Teacher, Preschool Teacher, Childcare Teacher, or Early Childhood Educator looking for a supportive center that values its educators, we'd love to meet you.

You'll thrive in this role if you have:

EEC Infant Toddler Certification, CDA, or equivalent degree and experience (required)

Daycare experience in a center-based or private school setting

Patience, positive energy, and a love for helping young children meet and exceed their developmental goals

Some requirements of the role include:

Flexibility to work 6:30AM-5:30PM Monday through Friday

Ability to spend extended periods of time on the floor with the children

Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Ability to stand up to 90% of the workday

Attentiveness, strong time management, and a team-focused mindset

As a Toddler Teacher, you will be responsible for:

Collaborating with your co-teacher to prepare curriculum, lesson plans, and materials

Supporting social-emotional development and early learning milestones through play-based, age-appropriate activities

Keeping parents informed and building positive relationships with children and families

Maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly classroom environment

Assisting with daily routines, including toilet training, diapering, meals, outdoor time, and naptime

Tracking children's progress and completing required assessments

Maintaining your EEC-required professional development hours and PQ registry

Helping toddlers build independence, language, and confidence
