Role summary
Map Labs is seeking a Fullstack Application Developer for a remote position. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining a SaaS platform for optimizing Google and Apple Maps. Responsibilities include creating new features, enhancing existing ones, and collaborating with a development team. Success is measured by productivity, broad understanding of technologies and business, leadership in development and deployment, and mentorship of junior team members. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience, extensive knowledge of Javascript, Typescript, and Python, experience with frameworks like Angular and Flask/FastAPI, and understanding of UX best practices and software architecture.
This is a remote position.
Map Labsis looking for aFullstack Application Developer. In this role, you’ll design, build, ship, and maintain the platform that allows marketing teams to optimize Google and Apple maps.
What you will be working on- Creating new features for our SaaS product from start to finish, focusing on the front-end code.
- Maintaining and enhancing existing features.
- Participate in scrum meetings, retrospectives, demonstrations, and daily stand-ups.

Requirements
Requirements & Skills- 5+ years of experience as a web application developer
- Extensive knowledge of Javascript, Typescript and Python
- Experience using frameworks such as Angular (Typescript) and Flask/FastApi (Python)
- Good understanding of UX best practices and Software Architecture principles
- Experience building web applications and consuming REST API’s
- Basic knowledge of MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
- Working knowledge of GIT
- Knowledge of English: must have verbal and written proficiency in English. C1 Level or better (British Council Levels).
