Woodbury is a hamlet in Nassau County’s Town of Oyster Bay. The community is known for its peaceful, tree-lined neighborhoods and convenient access to shopping, dining, and major Long Island destinations. Woodbury has a population of about 9,000, with spacious homes, highly rated schools, and a strong sense of community. School district boundaries can vary by neighborhood, and residents value privacy, green space, and safe, quiet streets. Woodbury’s location provides easy access to shopping and dining along Jericho Turnpike, as well as attractions in Syosset, Plainview, and Cold Spring Harbor. The area is more residential than tourist-oriented, but its proximity to parks and cultural sites enhances quality of life. Residents benefit from an easy commute to other parts of Long Island and New York City via nearby highways and the Syosset LIRR station. The local lifestyle balances comfort, convenience, and access to both suburban and city amenities.
