Role summary
Meta is seeking a Network Quantitative Engineer to join its network infrastructure team. This role blends quantitative analysis, systems engineering, and network infrastructure to scale Meta's global network. Responsibilities include analyzing large datasets, designing data pipelines, building quantitative models for network planning and capacity decisions, developing data visualizations, and collaborating with engineering teams. The role also involves ensuring the reliability of analytical systems, improving data quality, and participating in incident response. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience is required.
Meta's network infrastructure team is responsible for designing, operating, and evolving one of the world's largest and most complex global networks. As a Network Quantitative Engineer, you will sit at the intersection of quantitative analysis, systems engineering, and network infrastructure to help shape how Meta's network scales to meet hyper-exponential demand. You will build analytical frameworks, develop data pipelines, and produce models that directly inform network planning, capacity decisions, and performance optimization across Meta's global backbone and edge infrastructure.
