Role summary

MetroStar is seeking a Sr. Program Director III - Quality & Customer Success to oversee quality assurance and customer success functions. Reporting to the Executive Vice President of the Intelligence Portfolio, this role focuses on removing delivery impediments, enhancing cross-team collaboration, ensuring contract compliance, and advocating for successful customer outcomes. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of quality assurance experience, including 5+ years in leadership, with a proven track record in implementing QA processes, managing software development methodologies, and resolving delivery issues. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking skills are essential for success in this hybrid role.

As Program Director III - Quality & Customer Success, you’ll report directly to the Executive Vice President of the Intelligence Portfolio. This role oversees quality assurance and customer success. The Program Director removes delivery impediments, strengthens collaboration across teams, ensures compliance with contract requirements, and advocates for successful customer outcomes.

What you’ll do:

  • Constantly monitor project progress to identify impediments early on, actively engage in resolving them, andescalate issues when necessary.
  • Manage and track dependencies across cross-functional teams or squads to ensure seamless collaboration andtimely delivery.
  • Oversee and track all high-integrity commitments, ensuring they are met according to established timelines andstandards.
  • Provide proactive visibility into project status, communicate delivery targets, commitments, and progresseffectively to stakeholders.
  • Define, implement, and administer program deliverables to ensure full compliance with contract requirements.Regularly report progress on problem resolution to senior management, highlighting any critical issues orroadblocks.
  • Foster a culture of team-driven decision-making and commitment, promoting trust among team members andfacilitating team-building events.
  • Support customer meeting preparation and delivery and assist with escalations.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by senior leadership to support the overall objectives of the organization

    • What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Active TS//SCI with ability to obtain CI poly
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 10+ years of quality assurance experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven success implementing and managing quality assurance processes and practices.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and quality assurance principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve delivery impediments, manage dependencies across teams, and escalate critical issues.
  • Experience overseeing program deliverables to ensure compliance with contract requirements, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Ability to track commitments and clearly communicate project status, delivery targets, risks, and resolution progress to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, including supporting customer meetings and managing escalations.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to identify and prioritize improvements in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to build trust, encourage team-driven decisions, and promote accountability across cross-functional teams.

    • SALARY RANGE: $185,000- $225,000

    The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:

  • The candidate's professional background and relevant work experience
  • The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
  • Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
  • This role is also eligible for additional compensation, subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar, which may include:
  • Performance-based bonuses
  • Company-paid training and/or certifications
  • Referral bonuses
