Role summary

The District Apartments in Colton, CA is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their growing property management team. This role requires a candidate with a strong customer service focus and experience in all trades, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. Responsibilities include grounds and common area cleaning, completing maintenance requests, appliance repairs, painting, and handling apartment turnovers. On-call availability and reliable transportation are essential. The position offers competitive hourly pay ($23-$25/hour DOE) with benefits such as monthly bonuses, profit sharing, PTO, paid holidays, sick time, and a 401K with employer match.

We are a large regional property management firm looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at The District Apartments, located in Colton, CA!

The ideal candidate will have experience in all trades and be very customer service focused. Some duties will include cleaning grounds, offices, common areas, completing maintenance service requests, appliance repairs, painting, apartment turnovers, taking emergency calls and more!

Qualifications

  • Prefer at least 2 years experience in apartment maintenance on 200 unit property!
  • Experience in all trades (plumbing, electrical, a/c, etc.) a must!
  • Customer service attitude, flexibility and the ability to work in a team environment are key to making this position a success!
  • As a condition of employment, all employees must acknowledge and consent to the possibility of audio recordings being made during the performance of their work duties.
  • Reliable transportation is a MUST!
  • Availability to work on-call rotation.
